Summary of Responsibilities:

System Analyst (SA) have responsible for:

  • Manage and track assigned problem tickets
  • Dealing with and reporting on delayed Problem tickets and delayed TASKs
  • Cause investigation / analysis TASK review and evaluation and reporting to Problem manager
  • Report to related departments

Dimensions of Position

SA have opportunities for:

  • Can be involved in problem management for systems running in Metlife’s production environment. There is an opportunity to gain insight into Metlife’s system through problem management.
  • Can practice ITIL-based problem management.
  • Opportunity to practice problem management with the US Global Problem management team.

Principal Responsibilities:

SA have responsible for:

  – Acquire the business knowledge of life insurance required as an employee of Metlife. Take and pass the exam as needed.

– Perform all activities related to Problem management.

  • Manage and track assigned problem tickets
  • Dealing with and reporting on delayed Problem tickets and delayed TASKs
  • Cause investigation / analysis TASK review and evaluation and reporting to Problem manager
  • Report to related departments

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

  • 5years+ : Experience developing Web system as team leader
  • 10years+ : Communication, collaboration and teaming skills; skills and experiences in working level communication and presentations
  • 3years+ : Experience in problem management in system development
  • Good understanding of ITIL framework
     
    Nice to have:
  • Has a System development experience of Japanese life insurance company or financial institution
  • Has a work experience at a Japanese life insurance company or financial institution
  • Has experience in dealing with system incidents at Japanese insurance companies or financial institutions
     
    Personal Attributes:
  • Japanese – Native Level, English – Business Level
  • Has a communication skills that respect members, cooperate with members and promote together
  • Has a strong will and ability to take a broad view of things, identify issues, and improve
  • Value teamwork and can think and work flexibly
  • Consultative, partnering, facilitating and influencing skills with many audiences and cultures locally
