Job Summary:

MetLife Japan Information Technology Department / Technology Services Group is responsible for local CIO support functions like project portfolio management, governance, execution excellence, IT finance etc. Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) is one of those functions. VRM team is looking for a managerial role with below requirements.

Responsibilities:

•    IT Vendor Contract Management (end to end lifecycle support)
•    Vendor Relationship Management (regular cadence with internal and suppliers)
•    Closely work with IT internal teams to coordinate vendor Performance/Metrics monitoring 
•    Closely work with IT internal teams, Procurement to understand, execute contractual demands/needs
•    People/Task management for 2 to 3 internal staff & multiple external support staff
•    Any other related tasks as required for the job
 

Requirements:

•    10+ years of IT experience
•    Worked at medium to large size IT organization
•    IT projects management / IT vendor management experience is a plus
•    Read/Write/Speak Japanese (business to native level)
•    Read/Write/Speak English (business level)
•    Have performed people manager role in the past
•    Good Communication skills
•    Self-starter with ability to operate independently with speed
 

Preferable:

•    IT project management or Delivery experience
•    Experience in life insurance company
 

Language:

•    Japanese : Business to Native level
•    English : Business level
