Overview of Vision Consulting and the position:

Vision Consulting provides seamless support to clients through IT strategies, building a bridge between business management and IT solutions. Principal will be working with Vision Consulting America to support clients in the US. The main responsibilities of Principal include a provision of conventional IT services such as implementation of software systems and system integrations as well as planning of business development to acquire consulting projects which involve the latest technologies such as AI, cyber-security, RPA, etc., and execution of such projects.

Principal will be responsible for expanding the client base of Vision Consulting America by utilizing their own connections. Acquiring new end clients or non-primary projects, partially participating in consulting projects, and assigning Vision Consulting employees or subcontractors will also be a crucial role. Principal will be given the opportunity to review expansion strategies while working with our board members in Japan and sales staff as well.

The following are the responsibilities for Principal in a short-to-long-term time frame.

Short-term:

  • Acquiring consulting projects and system integration projects including, but not limited to, primary and secondary projects by using their own network and connections.
  • Assigning consultants and engineers to projects.
  • Creating brand-new, unique consulting solutions.
  • Preparing proposal documents for clients, negotiating on terms, and planning sales strategies.

Mid-term:

  • Co-interviewing candidates for US positions with Vision Consulting’s recruiters.
  • Planning training programs.
  • Supporting the making of internal corporate systems.

    Long-term:
  • Representing other US branches or offices abroad as a partner to Vision Consulting.

    Qualifications:
  • 2+ consecutive years of experience as a partner/director/principal-level consultant, managing consulting projects at a major consulting firm such as Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, IBM, etc. within the past 10 years.
  • A proven track record of winning 5+ consulting projects while working for a consulting firm or major IT service firm.
  • Experience with business development, business planning, project management.
  • A desire to expand business by using your own connections.
  • Logical and critical communication skills.
